3 MONTH OLD ELLA | OUR DARLING ELLA | BETTER LATE THAN NEVER

When Ella was three months old our family was going through some major changes (refer to the last blog post). I still found time to delight in my sweet babe, take lots of pictures of her, and enjoy Ella all the time. There are many unique things about Ella during this time that I will never forget. She had these amazing cheeks. They were squishy and full and they made me so so so happy. Ella loved nursing, probably her favorite thing ever. She was what they call a barracuda eater; super fast and efficient. She was also my most cuddly girl, always wanting to be held and loved snuggles. Her favorite snuggles were from her daddy or anyone who reminded her of her daddy. She did not love sleep…but I didn’t mind that too much. Also, Ella was very serious. She did not smile often, but she observed everything. She was highly alert and aware of everything going on around her. I loved my little serious baby. One last thing about this time in her life, Ella got her first two teeth when she was three months old. The next two followed closely behind. Teeth at three months, crazy right? We endured.

This picture is a collage of a similar picture I took of Kat at 3 months. They were so different. Ella had brown eyes, Kat had blue. Kat had lots of fuzzy hair, Ella barely had hair and the list goes on with their features.

Ella lost all of her hair after this…she was a bald baby for a while. I loved watching her at this stage. She was so captivated by her reflection.

My sweet girl.

Though in some ways this seems like ages ago, there is a part of me that can go back to this exact moment and remember this day.

My serious little one. She used to kick and kick and oooo and ahhh at herself. Sweet memories.

Oh, my Ella and her little feet and that cloth diaper butt. Precious.

Hi teeth!

I love her little toes! Well, my three month old Ella, you were a delight then and you are a delight now. I am sorry I did not get to blog these photos sooner. Next up, six months old Ella.
