Kat is 2! | Toddler birthday session | Johns Creek, Georgia

Watching my daughter grow, over the last two years, has been one of the highlights of our life. Our daughter is sweet, girly, and she is such a joy! When I was brainstorming ideas for a two year session, I become thrilled with the thought of sweets, for my sweetheart. Since she is so girly, I went with a pink theme. I ordered her a special dress (thank you Etsy!), and then I searched for the perfect flowers and treats. I made her a cake, four tiers, each tier was a different shade of pink. As you can tell, a whole lot of love went into her celebration session.

I set up a desserts table full of the goodies. I let her find her way to the table, and just do her thing. She was thrilled! First thing she did was drink her pink lemonade, and then she shared it with her best friend, teddy. Adorable.

Probably her favorite thing right now is a pop, otherwise known as a lollipop. I usually keep one in my purse, just in case I need one (for her of course…).

She really is so beautiful. Not just her face, but her heart. Kat is more than I could have ever imagined in a daughter. When I look at her, I am constantly amazed that she is mine…temporarily. I created her, inside of me, with the help of Matt (of course), and God’s great miracle of life. How is this possible? He has trusted us to raise her, and then send her on her way in this world to make a mark. There is no way I can put into words how we feel about our daughter, and ho proud I am to be her mother. I say we, since my husband loves being a daddy more than any other man I know. He went from wanting “maybe two” kids, to seven. We’ve compromised at 5. I am not sure that will happen, but his love is so great for our daughter, he just wants more and more little ones. Okay, I think you get the idea. WE LOVE OUR DAUGHTER!
